Film Clips
You may have noticed that I have a slight problem with being addicted to films.

Ok, I read the Cormac McCarthy novel "No Country for Old Men" on Tuesday and Wednesday night. The film is a direct copy with just a few differences. I loved it of course. McCarthy does not use dialogue punctuation, or any punctuation for that matter in his novels. It was a little strange to read. Anyways, obligatory scene from the film is up! Here is Chigurh and Wells having their final conversation. In the novel after Wells tells Chigurh that he can get him 14k at the ATM, he adds it is a good payday. Anton responds: "It is, but it is in the wrong currency" and that should have made it into the film. Oh well:

My friend from Michigan would like a Madonna tune. I actually do like Madonna quite a bit, and my favorite is "Live to Tell". I did just play that a little while ago. I dug up a cool live performance of "Dress You Up in My Love" that should work:

I've noticed that you've made mention of 'Tubular Bells' in a number of your posts thru the years, did you know that Hall and Oates did a cover of Oldfield's 'Family Man' in the 80's?
It's kind of got that creepy vibe to it too.

I rented 'Kick Ass' last week, it was good IMO.
I went to the movies last night and watched 'Inception', it was one of those movies that messes with your mind, really good flick

I think i will check that out when it comes on the pay per view channel. I want to see "The Expendables" but I hate going to the theater.

I hear you, it seems every time I go to the theater a woman will set down in front of me just reeking of perfume.
Now I didn't say that I hate perfume, I like just a hint of it as I lean in to kiss my wife's neck, it's one of those things where a little goes a long way.
The last time we went to the theater it was almost empty, maybe 12 people in a whole room. I kid you not, 3 ladies came in and wandered down and sat RIGHT IN FRONT of me and the wife! The whole place was empty for crying out loud. We got up and moved to other seats.
If it is not that it is annoying teenagers making probelms through the film. I just wait until the movies are at the store or on demand.
