New Orleans Saints NFL Champions

Thanks to Peyton Manning for the pick 6 but......

31-17 and a win going away. Is Manning still the greatest QB ever???? I dunno!

Thanks C-T for the kind words!

My mom even called as she knows I have loved the Saints forever!!!!!!!

This is huge and I welcome all nice comments!

Congratulations, GYC. Your Saints are Super Bowl Champions.

By the way, as you recall, I was pulling for them tool. After the Cowboys were eliminated, of course.

It was a good game. Lot of drama, back and forth scores. I was a little concerned after the first quarter, when the Colts were up 10-0, but the Saints got it together and willed themselves to win.

Excellent game plan in the second half. They just befuddled Manning. And that Tracy Porter pick-six, what a great play that was. Drove a stake through their hearts.

It's going to be an interesting off-season. I read somewhere that New Orleans has 29 free agents, something like 18 restricted and 11 unrestricted, so it might be difficult to keep the team together for a repeat. But with the complications of an uncapped season, I don't expect to see too much movement. Besides, most of these guys are going to want to come back and win, rather than go somewhere else and lose. We'll see what happens.

This is going to be the greatest Mardi Gras in history. And I'm happy for the city of New Orleans.

Saints 16 - Colts 17 - Refs 14.

Bookies win.

I really don't care enough but as an exercise look at at the total embargo on "bad calls" in the msm.

For the record the better team won by playing better. That's a good thing.

Now Rob I saw no bad calls! LOL
