Looks pretty damn sharp, GYC. I know she can accelerate. How does she handle? Hugs the road, does she? Nice. I'm very happy for you.
Paid off the RX-8 this morning. That frees up $733.33/mo that I can spend on other things. I'm thinking about driving up to Dallas and flying my brother down from Maine for the New Orleans game on Oct. 19. That happens to be his birthday, so it should be fun.
We'll have dinner at the YO Steakhouse downtown in the Westend District. That really is one of the best steakhouses in the country. All the beef they serve is raised on the YO Ranch in Kerville, so it's very exclusive. No one else can get that beef, and it's delicious.
Hey, man, if you ever want to take the wife on an exotic vacation, you really ought to consider the YO Ranch. It's a 50,000 acre natural wildlife preserve with a really nice Hilton hotel. They got giraffes, antelopes, gazelles, deer, elk, moose, cattle, all sorts of animals. They have these golf-cart trains that will take you on a safari. There's also horse back riding, and there's axis-tail deer hunting when in season. It's the closest you can get to the old west, with an added African safari.
What's really cool is that the restaurant will sometimes serves wild game. Not that they raise these exotic animals to kill and eat them, but they do have to thin the herds, and when they do they will serve antelope, gazelle, elk, what have you. Everything served at the YO Hilton is raised on the YO Ranch, and they serve dishes you can't get anywhere else.
