I think Christmas may shock people with downleg #2. If true, today's wimpy nominal rates might turn out to be very nice inflation adjusted rates.<br /><br />I could be wrong of course, but I am a very infrequent trader. I was willing to put my money where my mouth was when I sold a decent chunk of my inflation protected treasuries and moved to cash.<br /><br />Everyone, and I do mean everyone, is SO convinced that inflation is a sure thing right now. I avoid sure things, especially when my gut thinks the opposite anyway.<br /><br />Time will tell.
